KARACHI: Bridge Consultants Foundation successfully conducted a nurses training session under the CFCF 2025 project, focusing on Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis (DR-TB) and community-led monitoring through the One Impact app.

The session featured presentations by Dr. Syed Sharaf Ali Shah, Executive Director of Bridge Consultants Foundation, Mr. Waheed Khattak, Project Manager of CFCF 2025, and Dr. Tajamul Baig, who shared their expertise and practical knowledge with participants.

During the training, attendees were guided on the causes, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of DR-TB. Speakers highlighted the importance of early detection, proper case management and adherence to treatment protocols to help control the spread of the disease.
Participants were also briefed on the use of the One Impact app for community support and monitoring. Practical guidance was provided on how the digital platform can help patients report issues, access support services and strengthen treatment follow-up.
Organizers said the session was highly informative, engaging and impactful for all attendees, while reaffirming their commitment to raising awareness and strengthening the response to tuberculosis through capacity-building initiatives.
