Karachi: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) have been signed between Zakat Department and Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi on Friday 10th January 2025 at Karachi by Mr. Muhammad Kashif Siddiqui, Director (A&A), Zakat Department and Dr. Ashar Afaq, Registrar, Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi.
The objective of MOU is to provide health care services including OPD, emergency, lab diagnostic, medicines and all in patients services to deserving patients from zakat fund on discounted rates.
Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Sheerazi, Minister for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat & Ushr Department, Government of Sindh and Mr. Muhammad Mureed Rahimoon, Secretary to Government of Sindh also witnessed the signing ceremony.
Professor Dr. Nazli Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Syed Zain- ul-Abideen Shah, Director Finance Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi were also present.
