Farooq Group delegation meets federal health minister to explore medical tourism & joint ventures

ISLAMABAD: A delegation from Farooq Group of Hospitals and Akhtar Saeed Medical Colleges held an important meeting with Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal to discuss the promotion of medical tourism in Pakistan and explore potential joint ventures with the Ministry of Health.

The delegation was led by Dr. Saad bin Haroon (CEO – Farooq Group), Dr. Syed Mubashir (Deputy MS), and Ms. Khizra Mahmood (Director HRM). During the meeting, both sides engaged in meaningful discussions on strengthening public–private collaboration to boost Pakistan’s healthcare services at regional and international levels.

Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal appreciated the initiative and emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting medical tourism, expanding international patient services, and enhancing cooperation with private healthcare groups. He assured full support for future collaborative ventures aimed at improving healthcare accessibility, innovation, and investment in Pakistan.

The delegation thanked the minister for his vision and assured their readiness to work closely with the Health Ministry to develop sustainable models for medical tourism and healthcare advancement in the country.
