KARACHI: The two-day live surgery workshop organized by the Hair Restoration Society of Pakistan (HRSP) begins today, Saturday, November 28, at a local hotel in Karachi, with all arrangements finalized. A joint meeting of the Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee was held yesterday to review and conclude the preparations.
The meeting was informed that participants from various countries have started reaching Karachi, including delegates from Canada, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and several other nations. This workshop is part of a larger international event scheduled to be held in Islamabad in February next year under the banner of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
The meeting was attended by Dr. Zulfiqar Tunio, Dr. Humayun Mohmand, Dr. Hanif Saeed, Dr. Waris Anwar, Dr. Nasir Rasheed, Dr. Habibullah Shah, and others, while Dr. Rana Irfan and Dr. Uzma Irfan joined the session online.
Addressing the meeting, Dr. Hanif Saeed said that experts from around the world are converging on one platform through this workshop, which will pave the way for introducing advanced techniques in the field of hair restoration. He added that international specialists will share the latest scientific findings and innovations related to hair loss prevention, hair transplantation, and hair restoration. He also expressed hope that the conference will prove to be highly productive and delivered a detailed presentation during the session.
