Pakistani instructor represents country at international civil defense training in Russia

St. Petersburg, Russia: An international training program organized by the International Civil Defense Organization is currently underway in St. Petersburg, Russia, hosted by the State Fire Service University of the EMERCOM of Russia.

Representing Pakistan in this prestigious global event is Mr. Tahir Hussain Sheikh, Senior Instructor at the Federal Civil Defense Training School, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. Mr. Sheikh is also pursuing his MPhil in Environmental Science at the University of Karachi.

More than 12 countries are participating in this international training, bringing together experts and professionals from various disciplines of civil defense, emergency response, and disaster management.

This advanced international training opportunity is considered a great honor not only for Pakistan but especially for the Federal Civil Defense Training School, Karachi, highlighting the institution’s growing recognition and contribution to international standards of emergency preparedness.

Upon successful completion of the course, Mr. Tahir Hussain Sheikh will return to Pakistan and resume his duties, contributing his enhanced expertise to strengthen the country’s civil defense training capacity.
