KARACHI: The medical community across Pakistan is in deep mourning following the passing of Professor M. Jalisi, a distinguished ENT consultant, veteran faculty member of Dow Medical College, and respected mentor to generations of doctors. He passed away last night, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, compassion, and academic leadership.
The Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) and the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) expressed profound sorrow over his demise, terming it an irreparable loss to the medical profession.
