AIT Students Participate in Prestigious Road Safety Conference

KARACHI: A distinguished Road Safety Conference, organized by the Pakistan Youth Parliament, was held at the Marriott Hotel, Karachi, bringing together key stakeholders to emphasize the importance of traffic laws and safe driving practices.

The event was attended by prominent figures, including Sindh Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho, DIG Traffic Karachi, and senior representatives from renowned international organizations. Their presence underscored the significance of collaborative efforts in promoting road safety awareness.

The primary objective of the conference was to educate youth on the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and fostering a responsible driving culture. Speakers delivered compelling messages, encouraging young attendees to lead by example and contribute to safer roads in Pakistan.

A group of over 40 students from the Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) actively participated in the conference, describing the experience as highly informative and motivational. The event featured insightful sessions, expert presentations, and a lively Q&A segment that kept the audience engaged.

A proud moment for AIT came when Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah presented a shield to AIT student and Youth Parliament member, Kashish, in recognition of her participation and leadership. The Minister also commended the efforts of the Pakistan Youth Parliament, describing the initiative as a commendable step toward empowering youth and improving road safety.
