Balochistan Healthcare Commission Issues Provisional Licenses to 16 Healthcare Facilities

QUETTA: The Balochistan Healthcare Commission (BHCC) organized a ceremony for the issuance of provisional licenses at a local hotel in Quetta. The event was attended by officials from the health sector as well as heads of various public and private healthcare institutions.

During the ceremony, it was shared that under the regulatory framework of the Balochistan Healthcare Commission, a detailed inspection of 25 healthcare facilities was conducted after the submission of Key Patient Safety Areas (KPSA) forms.

Following the inspection, 16 healthcare facilities were found to be compliant with the required standards. These include two public hospitals, twelve private hospitals, one single-specialty clinic, and one general practitioner clinic, all of which were granted provisional licenses.

Officials of the Balochistan Healthcare Commission stated that the commission aims to bring healthcare facilities across the province in line with the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) and to ensure the provision of safe and quality healthcare services to patients.
