KARACHI: The administration of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) conducted a visit to the Emergency Department to review preparedness in view of the observation of 21st Ramadan and the possibility of any sensitive situation.


Executive Director Prof. Dr. Khalid Sher, along with Joint Executive Director Dr. Suleman, In-charge Emergency and Deputy Director Dr. Nausheen, and Deputy Director Dr. Adeel, carried out a detailed round of the Emergency Department. During the visit, they reviewed emergency arrangements, including the availability of medicines, medical supplies, and overall readiness of the staff to handle any potential casualty or disaster situation.


The administration also assessed the operational preparedness of the emergency units and directed the relevant teams to remain vigilant and fully prepared to respond to any untoward incident.


Prof. Dr. Khalid Sher expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and preparedness of the Emergency Department, emphasizing that the hospital administration remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted emergency services for the public during the holy month of Ramadan.
