KARACHI: Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi will inaugurate its newly upgraded Oxygen Supply System tomorrow, marking a major milestone in enhancing patient safety and modernizing the hospital’s healthcare infrastructure.
Under the new system, the hospital’s existing single oxygen line has been expanded into five main oxygen supply lines to ensure uninterrupted and balanced oxygen delivery across all wards. Each ward has also been equipped with dedicated pipelines, alarm systems, and metering units to improve monitoring and safeguard patient health.
Senator Syed Waqar Mehdi, General Secretary of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh, will grace the occasion as Chief Guest.
According to Dr. Syed Khalid Bukhari, Medical Superintendent of Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, the initiative reflects the hospital’s continued commitment to providing quality and compassionate healthcare through modern infrastructure and technology.
The inauguration ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, morning at Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, Mission Road, and will be attended by senior doctors, hospital administrators, and media representatives.
