KARACHI — The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will organize an awareness seminar on the prevention and management of Alzheimer’s disease on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 3:00 pm at the FPCCI Head Office, Karachi. The seminar will also be accessible via Zoom.
The session is being organized by the FPCCI CSR Central Standing Committee on Medical & Health Sciences under the convenership of Dr. Zahid Hasan Ansari.
Key speakers include Ms. Hania Kazmi, Mental Health Professional and Program Manager at Vcare Social Welfare Society, and Madam Fatima Khalfan, CEO of Vcare Social Welfare Society. Both will highlight the challenges of ageing, mental health, and wellbeing in the context of Alzheimer’s care.
Mr. Muhammad Tariq Hassan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh and President of Pakistan Body Building Federation (PBBF), will attend as the Chief Guest.
The seminar aims to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease, its prevention, and management strategies, while also emphasizing the importance of community support and welfare initiatives for ageing populations.
