ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and discussed matters related to the health sector.
During the meeting, the health minister briefed the prime minister on ongoing and upcoming initiatives of the Ministry of National Health Services aimed at improving healthcare delivery and strengthening the country's health system.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the ministry’s efforts in implementing health sector reforms and acknowledged its initiatives to combat major public health challenges, including polio and hepatitis. He emphasized the need for continued efforts to eradicate these diseases and ensure better healthcare services for the public.
The meeting also reviewed progress on key health programs and discussed future strategies to further improve the healthcare sector and address emerging public health challenges across the country.
