ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025 will now be held on October 26 instead of the previously scheduled date of October 5.
According to PMDC, the decision was taken in view of the difficulties faced by students affected by recent floods.
More than 140,000 candidates have registered for MDCAT 2025 across Pakistan and abroad. Punjab has the highest number of registrations with 50,443 candidates, followed by 39,964 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 33,160 from Sindh, and 10,278 from Balochistan. From Islamabad, 1,146 candidates have registered, along with 3,322 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 1,564 from Gilgit-Baltistan, and 194 from Saudi Arabia.
The exam will be conducted by provincial and federal universities under the supervision of the PMDC.
