KARACHI: The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) has announced a comprehensive medical health insurance policy for its employees and their families, marking a major step forward in staff welfare and wellbeing.
Under the new policy, NICVD employees, their spouses, children, and parents will receive full healthcare coverage through an extensive network of hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country. The insurance will include hospitalization, emergency care, surgeries, and other essential treatments.
Executive Director of NICVD, Professor Tahir Saghir, said the initiative reflects the institute’s strong commitment to caring for its workforce.
“At NICVD, we believe the wellbeing of our employees directly affects the quality of care we deliver to patients. This policy is a token of appreciation for the tireless dedication of our staff,” he stated.
Professor Saghir also acknowledged the continued support of the Government of Sindh, which has enabled NICVD to sustain its mission of providing free and quality cardiac healthcare services across Pakistan.
This initiative further strengthens NICVD’s position as one of the largest and most successful cardiac care networks in the world, fostering a healthy, motivated, and secure workforce.
