Pakistan Endocrine Society Announces Office Bearers for 2026–2027

KARACHI: The Pakistan Endocrine Society (PES) has announced its newly elected office bearers for the 2026–2027 term following the successful completion of Elections 2025, which were held in a transparent and orderly manner under the supervision of the PES Election Commission 2025.

The elections witnessed an impressive voter turnout of 90 percent, reflecting strong engagement and confidence of the Executive Members in the democratic process of the Society.

According to the election results, Dr. Ali Asghar has been elected as President of the Pakistan Endocrine Society, while Dr. Umar Yousaf Raja will serve as President-Elect. For the position of Vice Presidents, Dr. Suresh Kumar has been elected from Balochistan, Dr. Uneeba Syed from Punjab, Dr. Sumera Batool from Sindh, and Dr. Tahir Ghaffar Khattak from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In the Secretariat, Dr. M. Naeem Khan has been elected as General Secretary, Dr. Faisal M. Qureshi as Finance Secretary, Dr. Sarwar Malik as Joint Secretary, and Dr. Musarrat Riaz as Publication Secretary.

The PES Election Commission expressed gratitude to all candidates, voters, and Executive Members for their cooperation and commitment to ensuring a fair and credible electoral process. The Society extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected office bearers and expressed hope that the new leadership will play a vital role in further advancing the field of endocrinology and improving patient care across Pakistan.
