KARACHI: A reception was held at Lyari General Hospital to honor Shabana Baloch on her election as President of the Young Nursing Association (YNA) Karachi. The event was organized by Principal Mehrunisa and Meharaj Raheem of Lyari General Nursing College, where a cake-cutting ceremony was also held.
The event was attended by Madam Hawa Baloch, Information Secretary Saima Baloch, Shehnaz Baloch, Saima Nabi Bakhsh, Shakeela Baloch, and a large number of nurses.
Speaking to the media, Shabana Baloch expressed her gratitude to the members of All Sindh Nursing from Lyari for trusting her with the responsibility. She pledged to continue her struggle for the welfare and professional development of young nurses, adding that she would make sure Lyari’s name shines on every platform.
She advised nursing students to focus on constructive dialogue rather than street politics, saying that true satisfaction comes from serving patients. “I always remind my students that nursing is a noble profession where service brings peace to the heart,” she added.
