KARACHI: The Directorate of Press Information, Sindh Information Department, has released the daily dengue situation report issued by the Director General Health Sindh, confirming a total of 49 dengue patients currently admitted across the province, with no deaths reported.

According to the report, 26 new dengue patients were admitted to government hospitals across Sindh during the last 24 hours, while 29 additional patients were reported from private hospitals. Karachi division’s government hospitals received 16 of the newly admitted cases, whereas seven patients were admitted in Hyderabad’s public-sector facilities.
The health department further confirmed that 38 patients recovered and were discharged from government hospitals, while 25 patients were released after treatment from private hospitals.
Laboratory surveillance remained active, with 2,151 dengue tests conducted across government and private labs in the province. The results showed 170 dengue-positive cases, including 109 from Karachi’s laboratories — the highest for the day — and 61 positive cases reported from Hyderabad.
The DG Health Sindh reiterated that no dengue-related fatalities were recorded in the province.
