YDA JPMC Iftaar and Cricket Super League Held with Health Matters Media as Media Partner

KARACHI: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) JPMC organized an Iftaar Dinner and Cricket Super League, bringing together doctors, professors, community representatives and members of civil society in a spirit of unity and sportsmanship. Health Matters Media served as the official media partner for the event.

A large number of doctors participated enthusiastically in the program, alongside respected professors, community leaders, lawyers, media representatives and well-wishers. The organizers expressed gratitude to all attendees for their support and encouragement, terming the event a memorable and successful gathering.

Special acknowledgment was extended to Professor Dr. Khalid Sher, Professor Madam Nighat Shah (Pro Vice Chancellor, JSMU), Dr. Muhammad Suleman (Joint Executive Director, JPMC), Dr. Abdul Razzaque Shaikh (President, PDF Sindh), Dr. Syed Ashiq Hussain Shah (President, PDF Karachi Division), Dr. Qaiser Sajjad (Founder, PMA Pakistan), Dr. Shafqat Hussain (HOD Surgery), Dr. Zafar Khan, Dr. Abdul Razzaque Dogar, Dr. Saddam Saleh, Dr. Khaleel Rehman, Dr. Aarit Parkash, members of student wings and others who graced the occasion with their presence.

The organizers also appreciated the efforts of volunteers who worked behind the scenes to ensure smooth arrangements for both the Iftaar dinner and the cricket tournament. They acknowledged the active participation of all teams in the YDA Cricket Super League, highlighting the spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition displayed throughout the matches.

Teams participating in the league included Emergency Eagles, CHK Warriors, Orthopedic Thunders, NICH Dolphins, Urology Kings, Admin Giants, Surgery Strikers, Medicine Sixers, Media Hawks, Neuropsychiatry Sharks, Chest Crushers, NICVD Wolf and JSMU Tigers.

Surgery Strikers, led by Captain Dr. Ashfaq Hussain, emerged as the winners of the YDA Cricket Super League, while Medicine Sixers finished as runners-up. Emergency Eagles and CHK Warriors reached the semifinals.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants and supporters for contributing to the success of the program and strengthening professional unity among the medical community.
