YDA Sindh to Host Iftar Dinner and Cricket Super League at JPMC; HM Media Named Media Partner

KARACHI: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Sindh will host an Iftar Dinner and Cricket Super League on Saturday, February 28, at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), bringing together members of the medical community for an evening of sports, solidarity and spiritual reflection during the holy month of Ramadan. Health Matters Media is the official media partner for the event.

According to the organizers, the cricket matches will be played at the Helipad Ground of JPMC starting at 7:30pm, while the Iftar dinner will be arranged at the motorbike parking area near Najmudin Auditorium. The event aims to promote unity, professional bonding and recreational engagement among young doctors and senior health officials.

Sindh Health Secretary Tahir Hussain Sangi and Executive Director JPMC Prof. Dr. Khalid Sher are expected to attend as chief guests. Among the guests of honor are Dr. Nighat Shah, Prof. Tariq Mehmood, Dr. Suleman (JED), Dr. Khalid Bukhari (MS CHK), Dr. Nasir Sadel (ED NICH), Patron-in-Chief YDA Sindh Dr. Kaleem Khoso, Chairman YDA Sindh Dr. Mehboob Noonari, President YDA Sindh Dr. Roshan Chandio, and General Secretary YDA Sindh Dr. Laal Malik.

The cricket league will feature teams comprising young doctors from various teaching hospitals across Sindh, providing a healthy competitive platform alongside professional networking. The Iftar dinner will include traditional Ramadan dishes and refreshments for participants and guests.

Chairman YDA Sindh Dr. Mehboob Noonari said the initiative aims to strengthen fraternity among doctors while offering them a positive and refreshing break from their demanding clinical responsibilities.

Health Matters Media, as the official media partner, will provide coverage of the event, highlighting the contribution of young doctors to public health services in Sindh.
