KARACHI: The Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) welcomed a delegation from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), led by CPSP President Professor Muhammad Shoaib Shafi, following an invitation from SIUT Director Professor Syed Adibul Hasan Rizvi.

The delegation met SIUT faculty members, fellows and staff and received a detailed briefing on the institute’s healthcare services, postgraduate training programmes and continued commitment to advancing medical education alongside the provision of free, high-quality healthcare.

SIUT currently has more than 250 trainees enrolled across 25 specialties under the supervision of over 70 qualified supervisors, providing a structured learning environment for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The visit also featured an interactive session with faculty members and trainees, followed by an exchange of views on strengthening medical education, clinical training and institutional collaboration.
