Fauji Foundation Rendering National Services in Health, Education and Economy: Senator Abdul Qayyum

CHAKWAL: The Fauji Foundation is rendering commendable national services in the fields of health, education and the economy, in addition to running schools, colleges, hospitals and medical centres across both urban and rural areas of the country to provide selfless medical care to millions of ex-servicemen, said Senator Lieutenant General (Retd) Abdul Qayyum, President of the Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society.

Addressing a gathering in Mulhal Mughlan town of Chakwal Tehsil, Senator Abdul Qayyum said that the Fauji Foundation operates a major 1,200-bed hospital in Rawalpindi and continues to expand healthcare facilities for retired armed forces personnel. He announced that Fauji Foundation authorities have agreed, on his recommendation, to establish a medical care centre for ex-servicemen in Mulhal Mughlan to address local healthcare needs.

He emphasized that such initiatives reflect the Foundation’s commitment to the welfare of those who have served the country and their families, particularly in underserved and rural areas.

The gathering expressed appreciation for the announcement and chanted slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Afwaj-e-Pakistan Zindabad” at the conclusion of the event.
