MDCAT 2025 to be held as scheduled — All preparations completed across provinces

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has confirmed that all arrangements for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025 have been finalized and the examination will be conducted as scheduled.

According to PM&DC, a few students made repeated attempts to delay the test through different forums, including petitions filed in the Honourable High Court. However, the court has dismissed the petitions, clearing the way for the exam to proceed without further postponement.

Examination halls across all provinces have been booked, and provincial authorities have completed all necessary preparations, including printing of papers and issuance of admit cards, to ensure smooth conduct of the test.

To facilitate candidates, PM&DC had reopened the registration portal twice and even extended the MDCAT date once to accommodate students affected by floods. The court has also dismissed another petition seeking a further extension of the test date.

PM&DC noted that students were provided ample time to prepare, and over 140,000 candidates have been registered for the exam. Therefore, the MDCAT 2025 will not be delayed any further.
