Shabana Baloch honoured after being elected president of Young Nursing Association Karachi

KARACHI: A cake-cutting ceremony was held at Lyari General Hospital to honour Shabana Baloch, newly elected President of the Young Nursing Association (YNA) Karachi. The event was organized by Rubina Shar, Principal of Qatar Nursing College, along with students of the Male College of Nursing.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of nurses and nursing students, including Huwa Baloch, President Mehru-ul-Nisa, General Secretary Meraj Baloch, Information Secretary Saima Baloch, Shehnaz Baloch, Saima Nabi Bakhsh, Baqi Baloch, and Senior Nurse Shah Nawaz, among others.

Speaking to the media, Shabana Baloch expressed gratitude to the members of All Sindh Nursing Association from Lyari for trusting her with the leadership role. She vowed to continue her struggle for the betterment of the nursing profession and to make Lyari’s name shine across all platforms.

She advised nursing students to focus on professional development rather than street politics, emphasizing that “true satisfaction lies in serving patients sincerely.”
