The event was led by Dr. Saad Jamal, District Health Officer (DHO) Central, along with the District Health Management Team (DHMT) Central.

As part of the initiative, motorbikes were handed over to outreach vaccinators who previously lacked proper transport to conduct field activities. The support, facilitated by the Federal Directorate of Immunization (FDI) and Provincial Directorate of EPI (PD EPI), is aimed at strengthening routine immunization services and ensuring wider coverage in remote and underserved areas.

The distribution was carried out by Dr. Khalid Brohi (WHO Sindh), Dr. Urwah Inam (Deputy District Health Officer – Polio/EPI), Dr. Samreen (DFP EPI), and Nasir Khan (DSV Central).

On the occasion, EPI vaccinators expressed their gratitude to the DHO and DHMT Central for their continued efforts to facilitate and support vaccination teams.
