ISLAMABAD: The National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) for Polio Eradication has announced that the nationwide anti-polio campaign will be conducted from October 13 to 19, 2025, aiming to protect millions of children from the crippling poliovirus.
According to NEOC, over 45 million children under the age of five will be administered oral polio vaccine (OPV) drops during the week-long campaign. In addition, Vitamin A supplements will also be given to enhance children’s immunity against various diseases.
More than 400,000 trained polio workers will take part in the campaign, going door-to-door to ensure that every eligible child receives the life-saving drops.
