Red Crescent Sindh's Services Lauded by Consul General of Oman

KARACHI: The Consul General of Oman in Karachi, Engr. Sami Abdullah Saleem Al-Khanjari, visited the Provincial Headquarters of the Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh yesterday, where he praised the organization's humanitarian work and pledged support for its future initiatives.

He was warmly received by Chairman of the Sindh Branch, Mr. Muhammad Rehan Hashmi, and Provincial Secretary, Mr. Kanwar Waseem. During the visit, the Consul General was presented with a detailed briefing and a documentary showcasing the wide range of humanitarian and community service activities carried out by the Red Crescent across Sindh.

Engr. Al-Khanjari also met with Red Crescent staff, volunteers, and prominent members of the social and business community who actively support the organization’s cause. He expressed deep appreciation for the impactful work being carried out and commended the leadership of Chairman Rehan Hashmi and Secretary Kanwar Waseem.

He assured full cooperation from the Omani consulate and expressed willingness to support efforts aimed at resource mobilization for the Red Crescent’s humanitarian initiatives in Sindh.

In response, Chairman Rehan Hashmi thanked the Consul General for his visit and interest in Red Crescent activities. He offered to provide First Aid and life-saving skills training to the staff and security personnel of the Omani Consulate in Karachi through the Red Crescent’s specialized training programs.

The visit concluded with a tour of the Red Crescent’s Training Institute, where the Consul General was briefed by the training coordinator on the wide array of courses offered.
