KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has announced a key administrative reshuffle involving a senior official of the Health Department. Mr. Farhan Ghani Khan, a BS-20 officer of Ex-PCS and serving as Special Secretary (Admn) in the Health Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary (I&C) in the Services, General Administration & Coordination (SGA&C) Department.

According to the official notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department on July 18, 2025, Mr. Farhan Ghani Khan will assume his new responsibilities with immediate effect and until further orders. He replaces Mr. Abid Saleem Qureshi, a PAS officer, who has been transferred.
The notification was issued by Chief Secretary Sindh, Mr. Asif Hyder Shah, and circulated to all relevant departments, including the Chief Minister, Governor, and other key administrative offices across the province.
Mr. Farhan Ghani Khan had been playing a vital administrative role in the Health Department, especially in matters of personnel management and departmental coordination. His transfer to the critical position of Secretary (I&C) highlights the Sindh government’s strategy to deploy experienced officers in departments directly dealing with inter-departmental coordination and governance oversight.
The development marks another step in Sindh's ongoing bureaucratic adjustments aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and service delivery across key departments.
