KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department has relieved Ghulam Ali Lakho, Provincial Inspector of Drugs (BS-18), District East, of the additional charge of Chief Inspector of Drugs, Sindh, with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Health Department, Government of Sindh, on September 25, 2026, the decision was taken with the approval of the competent authority, Health Minister Sindh.
The notification stated that Lakho, while serving as Provincial Inspector of Drugs (BS-18), District East, had been holding the additional charge of the post of Chief Inspector of Drugs, Sindh.
He has now been directed to report to the Health Department, Government of Sindh, until further orders.
The notification was issued under the signature of Secretary Health Sindh Tahir Hussain Sangi, while copies were forwarded to the Accountant General Sindh, Director General Health Services Sindh, Secretary Quality Control Board Sindh, Chief Inspector of Drugs Sindh and other concerned officials for information and necessary action.
