KARACHI: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) announced its new cabinet during a General Body Meeting held today at Ward 17 following inter-party elections.
According to the official announcement, Dr. Shahid Awan has been elected as President, Dr. Aurangzeb as General Secretary, and Dr. Imran Ali Arain as Spokesperson of the newly formed cabinet.

The meeting was attended by key figures from the YDA leadership, including Patron-in-Chief YDA Pakistan Dr. Omer Sultan, Chairman YDA Sindh Dr. Farukh Rauf, President YDA Sindh Dr. Waris Jakhrani, and Senior Vice President YDA Sindh Dr. Sajjad Bughio. Former office-bearers, Ex-President Dr. Waheed and Ex-General Secretary Dr. Halar, were also present at the session.

In his address, the newly elected President, Dr. Shahid Awan, assured that the cabinet will work actively to resolve issues faced by young doctors, particularly matters related to working hours, security, and training. He stated that transparency and improved patient care will remain the top priority of the association in the coming term.
