ISLAMABAD: The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has assigned the current charge of six director-level posts to senior officers for a period of three months or until the availability of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier.
According to an office order issued on September 23, 2026, the competent authority granted the additional responsibilities to the officers in addition to their existing duties, with immediate effect and in their own pay and scale.
Under the order, Mr. Atta Ur Rehman, Additional Director (RO-14), has been assigned the current charge of Director (MIS), while Mr. Manzoor Ali Bozdar, Additional Director (RO-14), has been given the current charge of Director (Controlled Drugs).
Mr. Ajmal Sohail Asif, Additional Director (RO-14), has been assigned the current charge of Director (Health & OTC), while Mr. Sayyad Hussain Khan, Additional Director (RO-14), will hold the current charge of Director (PE&R Division).
Similarly, Mr. Muhammad Usman Bada, Additional Director (RO-14), has been assigned the current charge of Director (Admin, HR & Logistics Division), while Mr. Aamar Latif, Additional Director (RO-14), has been given the current charge of Director (Legal Affairs Division).
The office order stated that these arrangements would remain effective for three months or until regular incumbents become available, whichever occurs earlier.
The order was issued by Deputy Director (HR) Asmat Ullah Khattak with the approval of the Chief Executive Officer of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan.
