KARACHI: The Joint Employees Committee of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) has welcomed the long-awaited promotions of employees from various departments of the hospital and congratulated all staff members who have been elevated.
In a statement, the committee termed the promotions a positive development and an acknowledgment of the employees’ hard work, experience, and dedicated services to the institution.
A spokesperson for the Joint Employees Committee said that timely promotions not only boost employee morale but also enhance institutional performance, job security, and professional satisfaction. The committee noted that the move has brought relief and happiness to employees who had been waiting for promotions for a long time.
The committee also expressed gratitude to Executive Director JPMC Prof. Khalid Sher, the Joint Director, Deputy Executive Director, Deputy Director, members of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), and the hospital administration for completing the promotion process in accordance with merit and relevant rules and regulations.
According to the statement, the current administration has played a constructive role in addressing longstanding employee issues and ensuring their legitimate rights, which has been appreciated by the workforce.
The Joint Employees Committee expressed hope that other employee matters, including service structure, time scale, upgradation, and related legitimate concerns, would also be addressed on a priority basis to further strengthen trust and harmony between the institution and its employees.
