KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi has directed the establishment of heat camps across the city to provide relief to citizens amid increasing temperatures.

According to the Commissioner, three heat camps have been set up in every sub-division, while the facility has been extended to all seven districts of Karachi.
He said that at least fifteen heat camps have been established in each district to assist the public during the ongoing heatwave conditions.
Syed Hassan Naqvi stated that medical facilities are also available at the camps, while drinking water and fans have been arranged in sufficient quantity for visitors.
He added that the heat camps have been established as a precautionary measure in view of the rising intensity of heat in Karachi.
