KARACHI: The first convocation ceremony of Life Saving Institute of Nursing and Rehman Institute of Nursing was held at the Pakistan Arts Council Karachi, where degrees and certificates were awarded to graduating students.

The ceremony was attended by Chairman Public Accounts Committee and President Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, as the chief guest. Addressing the ceremony, Nisar Khuhro congratulated the successful students and said that nursing is a sacred profession that plays a vital role in serving humanity.

He appreciated the services of Managing Director Life Saving Institute of Nursing and Rehman Institute of Nursing, Qayyum Marwat, for promoting quality nursing education and training. He said the efforts of these institutions in producing skilled and professional nursing staff for Pakistan and abroad are commendable.

Nisar Khuhro expressed hope that the newly graduated nurses would utilize their skills for patient care and contribute effectively to improving the healthcare system.
The event was attended by Vice Chancellor Sohail University Professor Saeed Ahmed Qureshi, Chief Executive Director Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Trauma Centre Dr. Sabir Memon, Associate Professor LUMHS University Hyderabad Dr. Hassan Bano, PhD Nursing scholar Dr. Badal Das, along with other distinguished personalities, faculty members, students, and parents.
Participants appreciated the role of Life Saving Institute of Nursing and Rehman Institute of Nursing in meeting the demand for qualified staff nurses not only in Pakistan but also internationally. They said that graduates from these institutions have actively served during challenging situations, including national emergencies and health crises.
Special certificates and awards were also distributed among students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance.
Managing Director Qayyum Marwat thanked all the guests for attending the ceremony and encouraging the students and faculty members.
