KARACHI: Sindh Medical College, Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU), has announced that the Orientation Day and White Coat Ceremony for newly admitted students will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
According to an official notification issued by the Office of the Principal, the ceremony will begin at 11:00 am and will take place at the Ground Floor Lecture Hall of the SMC Building, JSMU. All students and Heads of Departments have been instructed to be seated at the Ground Floor Lecture Hall by 9:45 am, while parents will be accommodated at the First and Second Floor Lecture Halls of the SMC Building at the same time.
The notification further stated that the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University will grace the commencement ceremony. The notification was issued under the signature of Prof. Dr. Ambreen Usmani, Principal, Sindh Medical College, Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi.
