KARACHI: A high-level meeting chaired by Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho was held at the Sindh Secretariat to discuss strategic measures for strengthening nursing education and allied health sciences across the province.

The session brought together key stakeholders, including Mr. Imtiaz Hussain Pirzada (Chairman PMCI), Prof. Dr. Javaid Ajmal, and Mr. Munawwar Ali Meethani (Secretary BBSHRRDB), alongside prominent nursing leaders, directors, and principals from public and private institutions.
Key Outcomes:
- Enhancing career opportunities for nurses and allied health professionals.
- Improving education quality and professional standards to meet international benchmarks.
- Expanding training programs to prepare young nurses for foreign employment.
- Awareness initiatives on NCLEX training, international licensing exams, and immigration procedures.
Dr. Azra Pechuho assured full government support, directing that free training programs and assistance for international licensing examinations be provided to help nurses secure global employment opportunities.
