KARACHI: In-charge Welfare Branch, Karachi Police Office (KPO), Lady Police Inspector Sharafat Khan, accompanied by Sub-Inspector Shahid, visited Civil Hospital Karachi, Trauma Centre, and the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) on Friday to inquire about the health of police personnel undergoing treatment.
During the visit, Jinnah Hospital focal person Sub-Inspector Zubair, ASI Muzaffar, Police Inspector Shehzad, Police Constable Zaheer, and other officials were also present.
At Civil Hospital, the welfare team met Police Constable Mashooq Ali, who is currently under treatment, and also visited police personnel admitted to NICH. Focal person Allah Warayo briefed the visiting officers about the condition and treatment of the patients.
Lady Police Inspector Sharafat Khan appreciated the performance and dedication of the focal persons deployed at the hospitals and expressed satisfaction over the welfare arrangements being provided to police personnel and their families.
She also met police officials and their family members who had brought their children for medical treatment at the hospitals. During the interaction, she listened to their concerns and assured them of the Karachi Police Welfare Branch’s continued support and assistance.
