PATERSON, NJ: Mujtaba Clinics inaugurated its fifth healthcare center in Paterson, marking a new milestone in expanding access to affordable and quality medical services across New Jersey. The grand opening ceremony celebrated the clinic’s mission to provide high-quality healthcare to underserved communities.

The ribbon-cutting was performed by Mayor André Sayegh of Paterson, with Mayor Raymond “Ray” Grabowski of Clifton, NJ, also attending the event. Several civic and community leaders joined the inauguration, including Councilwoman Rosemary Pino (candidate for the U.S. Congress), Councilman Antonio Latona, Councilman Mohammed Shabban, and Commissioner Ahab Hussain, along with a number of distinguished guests and community advocates.
Notable attendees included Dr. Gholam Mujtaba, Dr. Ayesha Mujtaba, Dr. Mehjabeen Mujtaba, Mr. Mukesh Patel, Mr. Umer Chaudhry, Dr. Qasim Naveed Cheema, Mr. Juan Pabon, and Mr. Ghassan Huzien.
Mujtaba Clinics have been serving communities across New York and New Jersey for several years, focusing on preventive and primary care through culturally sensitive and patient-centered services. The clinics aim to reduce health disparities and promote health equity among diverse populations.
Dr. Assad Mujtaba, who led the initiative, has been recognized for his leadership and contributions to public health. As a member of the Governor’s COVID-19 Response Team, he played a vital role in vaccination campaigns, community testing, and outreach for vulnerable populations. His continued dedication to healthcare equity and community development has been instrumental in expanding the Mujtaba Clinics network.
