TG Guru Program Session Focuses on DR-TB Awareness and Digital Tools for Patient Support

KARACHI: Bridge Consultants Foundation in collaboration with CFCS 2025 conducted the second session of the TG Guru program, aimed at strengthening awareness and capacity around tuberculosis, particularly Drug-Resistant TB (DR-TB).

During the session, participants were provided with detailed information on DR-TB, including its causes, symptoms, modes of transmission, and treatment procedures. Facilitators also highlighted the availability of treatment centers and emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and adherence to prescribed treatment regimens to prevent complications and further transmission.

The session further introduced participants to the One Impact App, a digital platform designed to support tuberculosis patients. Attendees were guided step-by-step on how to install and use the application, with practical demonstrations to ensure ease of understanding.

Participants were also briefed on the key features and benefits of the app, including its role in helping patients access healthcare services, report issues, and stay connected with support systems. The initiative aims to empower communities with both knowledge and digital tools to improve TB care and response.
