KARACHI: The sixth batch of sixth-semester Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students from MC College of Medical & Allied Health Sciences completed a two-week clinical rotation at the Hemophilia Welfare Society Karachi Pakistan (HWSK), focusing on hemophilia treatment and rehabilitation.

During the rotation, students received practical exposure to the clinical management of hemophilia and gained insight into the physical and psychological challenges faced by patients living with bleeding disorders. The training included patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, supervised rehabilitation sessions, and hands-on clinical learning under professional guidance.

Officials at HWSK said the initiative aims to bridge the training gap in hemophilia care by equipping future physiotherapists with specialized knowledge and practical skills necessary for managing complex bleeding disorders.

At the conclusion of the program, certificates were distributed among the participating students in recognition of their clinical learning and active involvement. HWSK extended its best wishes to the students for their future academic and professional success, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening healthcare education through structured clinical training opportunities.
