DUBAI: Noor Muhammad Mahar, President of the Pakistan Drug Lawyer Forum, participated in the World Health Expo 2026 held in Dubai from February 9 to 12, 2026, with the aim of promoting innovation, research and advanced medical technologies for Pakistan.

Recognised as one of the world’s largest healthcare exhibitions, the expo brought together approximately 4,500 international companies and participants from 192 countries. The event showcased the latest advancements in medical sciences, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, digital health and artificial intelligence, while facilitating multi-billion-dollar global business engagements.

Hundreds of thousands of visitors, including global experts, researchers, policymakers and industry leaders, attended the four-day event. This year marked the first time the expo was hosted at the World Exhibition Centre at the World Expo 2020 site instead of the Dubai World Trade Centre, highlighting its expanding global scale.
During the event, Mahar attended several international conferences, panel discussions and scientific sessions focusing on AI-driven diagnostics and treatment, digital healthcare systems and emerging global health challenges. He also participated in interactive discussions and question-and-answer sessions with international experts.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahar stressed the importance of organising similar large-scale healthcare exhibitions in Pakistan to promote technology transfer, local manufacturing, export growth and capacity building within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
He noted that he has been representing Pakistan at international healthcare exhibitions since 2011, working toward the transfer of modern medical technologies and innovation into the country. He described the World Health Expo 2026 as a strategic milestone and said that the ideas, technologies and business models explored at the event would be shared with Pakistani pharmaceutical companies and healthcare stakeholders.
The Pakistan Drug Lawyer Forum reaffirmed its support for Mahar’s efforts to advance healthcare innovation, promote artificial intelligence in medicine, strengthen regulatory reforms and enhance global collaboration for the sustainable development of Pakistan’s healthcare system.
